run lake tahoe’s newest and most beautiful half marathon
Welcome to Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe's crown jewel and one of the most photographed places in the world. Every day is beautiful here and in early June it is magical. The run starts at Eagle Point Campground on the south side of Emerald Bay where the Rubicon Trail descends around the bay and up to Bliss State Park to the turn around. Return back to the finish right where you started. We will have aid stations at miles 3, 6.5 and 10. Don't forget to take plenty of photos as you pass landmarks like Eagle Falls, Vikingsholm, Fannette Island's stone Teahouse and the Lighthouse. State Parks will receive $10 of each runner’s entry fee which will be used locally to fund their efforts to provide this wonderful playground for all to enjoy.

Bibs will be handed out race morning only. Our famous race swag will be waiting for you at the finish line.

Cancellation Policy:
We have a NO REFUND, DEFERRAL OR TRANSFER POLICY. It is very expensive and time consuming to organize and produce a trail running event. Most costs (swag, insurance, application and permit fees, emergency services, preparation time, etc.) have been incurred well in advance. Even a small percentage of runners requesting refunds, deferrals or transfers would be prohibitive. Thank you for your understanding.
